Blow-by-blow broadcast of the Main Event: a Heavyweight World Championship fight between Joe Louis and Edward Charles at Yankee Stadium. Never, for any fight, has there been such a divergence of opinion as to who will win the fight. Listen to the introductions and the beginning of the fight. This was a lost recording.

The fight that the Joe Louis recording was made for was the Sept 7 (or Sept 27th) 1950 fight vs Ezzard Charles ( yes, Ezzard). Here's some info on Ezzard Charles:
